Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway

The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway runs steam trains along the picturesque 3½ mile line between Chinnor and Thame Junction, where the line meets the route of the old Oxford to Princes Risborough line. The track follows the old Roman road known as the Icknield Way along the foot of the Chiltern Hills, and whatever the season passengers are assured of some beautiful views across the Vale of Whiteleaf. A variety of wildlife can be glimpsed from the trains; the hills above the railway are home to deer and the rare Red Kites, which may be seen at any point along the line.
