Bodmin and Wenford Railway

The 2009 season kicks off with the HALF PRICE WEEKEND on 14th & 15th March; call 0845 125 9678 for details.
The Bodmin and Wenford Railway must be the quintessential Cornish branch line! Steam trains run through beautiful scenery throughout the whole route from Bodmin General station to either Bodmin Parkway (where there is a direct cross-platform interchange with National Rail services) or Boscarne Junction. Visitors can enjoy travelling behind a Great Western steam engine (or a hertitage diesel on some dates) for the 13-mile round trip. An ex-Southern Railway steam locomotive hauls a train on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway
